Does your back pain keep you from enjoying those simple everyday activities?
Back pain is suffered by millions of people every day. The multiple reasons for the back pain are to numerous for me to discuss here, but let me talk about one of the most significant reasons people have back pain....
Our society sits at a desk and works at a computer eight to ten hours a day and then they go home and sit and watch tv for another two to four hours! We are killing our backs! We were not made to sit for that amount of time in a day. Our bodies are bound to have some affects from all this sitting and inactivity. So, what do we do? We move!
The number one cause of back pain is a weak core (low back and abdominals). How do we fix this? First, we get a clearance from the physician to do some light, non-impact exercise. Then we seek out qualified personal trainers or physical therapists to help set up a program to get us back on track to strengthening our core. It's really as simple as that.
This is where we at the Adventure Fitness Studio come in. We have qualified personal trainers who have worked with clients with all aspects of back pain. We offer a class specifically for individuals suffering from back pain. The class is designed to teach, monitor, and instruct a class on how to help themselves address their back pain. The class consists of execrises and stretches to help strengthen the core. Everything we do can be done at home with little equipment and space so everyone can enjoy the benefits!
The class is two weeks long, meeting Monday through Thursday for 30 minutes. You will learn specific exercises to help decrease your pain and increase your core strength. You will spend the two weeks learning and perfecting the exercises so you then can go home and continue to do the routines at home to help controll your pain.

You will need to bring a large fitness ball to class with you. These can be purchased at any sporting goods store, Target or Shopko, usually under $20.
